Being a psychologist in a developing country like India imparts further challenge. The first deficiency that you have is the inadequacy of resource. There is little study on subtle and less known disorders. Though recently the attention to psychological disorders has been beefed up a lot, there is a lot of area still untrodden. Internet becomes one of the major resources in this area. Such is the case with autism. Though some studies have made on it, they are very little. Considering this, I was searching the net for it. Before that, the internet has helped me learn a lot about the disorder, its possible treatment and its different variations. This time I was looking for something more than that. Therefore, it was able to give a greater insight in the disorder than the others could give. I learnt about what the members feel about the disease, and how the life of the affected and their close associates reacts to the disorder. Also I found some interesting therapies that will be effective for the mental development of the affected. The best in the lot is that the community includes my country as well. That will help in my professional life as well.
