These Texas Hold Em hands are ranked in order according to the strength of the combination. Here are 9 classifications in decreasing strength. All The Texas Hold Em Hands In Order 1. Straight Flush – are five cards arranged in a series and in the same suit. Ties are broken by the player with the higher straight flush. The best and unbeatable straight flush is the Royal Flush, which contains an Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten in the same suit. 2. Four of a Kind – This combination has four cards that are of the same rank with a fifth side card called a kicker. Tiebreakers among players depend on the value of the hand they hold. In community games where players have exactly the same card, the kicker decides who wins. 3. Full House – are a group of three cards of the same rank plus a pair that are also of the same rank. Ties are decided by the group of three same ranking cards. In community games, should two players have the same group of three cards, the pair may be used to determine the winner. 4. Flush – are comprised of five cards in the same suit. They are not in sequence but must be of the same suit. In case of a tie, the higher ranking card wins. Should a situation arise where both players have the exact flush, the pot is split between them. Suits are never tie breakers. 5. Straight – are cards in a sequence but not in the same suit. The Ace can be placed at either the top or bottom of the combination but no other card can do the same. Again, tiebreakers are decided by the highest ranking card. 6. Three of A Kind – composed of three cards of the same rank and a pair of unrelated side cards. Ties are broken by the higher ranked card. In community games, the cards on the side decide the game in case two players hold the same three of a kind. 7. Two Pair – consists of two sets of pairs which are of the similar rank and one unrelated side card. The highest ranking pairs always win but in case both players have the same, the side cards may be break the tie. 8. One Pair – has one pair of cards which are of the same rank plus three unrelated side cards. These side cards may break a tie if players have the same one pair. 9.
