What Posting Articles Online

By: Aaron R Daniel

Each article was written to inform and appeal to the human
readers. Search engines were incidental in my mind. I wasn't
systematic regarding submitting new ones on a regular basis so
they engineered momentum. Nor was I careful to emphasize my
website's keywords and principal theme. But I do currently--it
matters. Despite that, the articles already posted are
hard at work for me.
My list of places for submitting keeps expanding. And it's
additional refined with every article posted. When a year and
a [*fr1], that's a giant list (nearly a thousand). And I am a
known amount with sites and ezines that consistently post
my contributions. My best-received article so far shows 181
Google mentions (with their connected incoming links).
Starting from Zero Online Visibility
I launched a brand new website mid-June, 2004, using article
promoting as the primary traffic-building strategy (Yellow
Page Sage, getting your Yellow Page ad and website operating
together). The primary article was a strong one, getting a hundred thirty five
Google cites.
Over the next 3 months I wrote and posted seven articles
connected to Yellow Pages or Native Search. The website conjointly
provided extensive information regarding Yellow Page advertising
by alternative authors--making it terribly sticky and content-rich.
Making an Article twelve-pack
After they were submitted to my list, I combined those seven
articles with 5 of my previous selling articles - twelve
in all (with a link to every article). Rather than giving
them as onesees, I currently send the full batch (letting the
receiver pick what they need).
I ready a letter offering the 12-pack, asking if they wish
to receive similar future ones. That letter is solely sent to
websites I've visited. I'd never offer it to a web site unless
there is a good fit. Sending out the twelve-pack is an ongoing
activity, and another approach to expand my list. Some websites
have posted the entire set - twelve come back links from one
letter!
Surprise! Google Noticed me!
Since I was busy obtaining the positioning polished and launched, it
caught me unexpectedly that in two months my Google Page Rank
was 3/ten (the primary time I checked). And the following month
it had climbed to PR 4/10 - without doing anything but post
seven articles. I did not yet understand it had been obtaining additional
mileage as a result of of the strength of my list. Therefore moving to PR
five/10 can't be too way off, can it?
Then I started paying serious attention to Page Rank--the
posting web site's AND mine. Page Rank shows the extra
importance that Google offers to the amount and popularity of
websites linking to yours. Links from higher Page Rank pages
elevate your Page Rank.
2 Things I didn't Understand After I Started Posting Articles
First - I posted my articles to urge website traffic and
incoming links (via the Sig at the tip of every article). I
treated each article look as equivalent. However Google
doesn't. All those articles showing in high-Page-Rank
directories were giving an extra boost to my score.
So I've re-assessed my list. Websites with higher Page Rank
are currently my "A List." Articles that they publish are doing my
Page Rank means additional good than alternative places. Of course, I
still need to post widely and pursue each sorts of links.
Second - I didn't realize that the "Page Rank of a web site"
does not exist. Every page on a website has its own Page Rank.
(Though there are ways in which to form every page on the web site
share the same Page Rank, it is not widely done.) So a home
page with PR seven/ten that links to mine from a PR three/10 interior
page solely provides a PR 3/ten link. That awareness influences
who and how I link with different websites anymore. And it
dictates the means I organize external links on my very own
websites.

Did For My Google Page Rank In ninety Days Article Promoting Builds Momentum and Traffic After I started submitting articles to ezines and directories I was happy just to urge an occasional article written and widely posted online. I assumed that was the point. But I've since learned concerning equally necessary considerations--like the Page Rank of the location where it appears.
