"Her focus is so simple," says the actress, 44. "Our lives as humans are so complicated and she just left that world behind and good riddance. With the HBO hit's fourth season around the corner (it premieres June 26), Bauer chats with Parade about the latest chaos in Bon Temps, turning Pam into a fighter, and the relationship between Pam and Anna Paquin's character Sookie Stackhouse. What did the cast think of the season's first episode? Read on to find out! Will the cast watch the premiere together? "We already did actually! They had a cast screening and it was really nice. I happened to be shooting that day, but the people who weren't came too. It was the cast and the crew and we had a fabulous catered lunch.They got a whole stage and a big screen. It was pretty awesome. After the lunch, we went back to work and the whole energy on the set changed. It went from everybody being tired shooting episode 11 to completely jazzed." But you already knew what was going to happen because of the script, right? "I was saying to everyone all day that if you held a gun to my head I wouldn't know what we did in episode one since we shot it in December. They all sort of blend together for us and there is no way you can keep track of what happens in the other worlds. That's what's fun about this show: you can be a total fan and be on it." What did the cast think of the episode? "I think we all tend to be a little nervous about our performance. After we watched it, everyone was running up to each other saying how good it was and how good it looked. All the actors just felt really relieved and we kept commenting on how good everybody was. We were also commenting on how good it looks. Every year it gets a little richer." We know that Eric will loose his memory at the hands of the new and old witches in town. The scenes show Jesus, Tara, and Lafayette will be part of the coven. But, all the fans are waiting to see if it will be Sookie and Bill or Sookie and Eric. Earlier this week Alan Ball stated that he was going to ask for a fifth season but is not sure if he can work longer than that because he hasn't had a break. Does this mean that True Blood will only see this season and next? Even though the actors signed seven year contracts I am told that that is standard with acting so is this why they rushed the bad fairy story? If True Blood ends September 2012 and Charlaine Harris ends her book series on May 2013... what will we have? Hum.. and what about the movie rumor? Is their any truth about that? Will that be how they end the series? But, for now let's focus on this season. What do you have planned for this year's premiere? "True Blood" returns to HBO in a week's time and Sunday night (June 19) after the finale of "Game of Thrones," HBO aired a sneak peek of the first eight minutes of the Season 4 premiere. Sookie (Anna Paquin) finds herself in Faery, the land where the fairies live. She is properly introduced to her fairy godmother Claudine and also runs into Barry the bellboy and his fairy godmother Lloyd. In this new fairy world, everyone is partaking of these glowing apples called lumieres, including Sookie's Granddaddy Earl (Gary Cole), who barely recognizes Sookie at first. How great is Gary Cole, love that casting choice. It was also interesting the fruit makes everyone forget their lives and lose all track of time - kind of reminds us of the casino in "Percy Jackson" book one.
