The character's name is Jessica DiLaurentis (played by Andrea Parker) and she'll be sticking around for a little while, although we're unsure what trouble she'll be bringing to town. Aria Montgomery's love life is getting more complicated in season 2 of "Pretty Little Liars". The character played by Lucy Hale will find herself caught in a love triangle as another man threatens her relationship with Ezra. Making it more intriguing, the third person is none other than the brother of her deceased friend, Alison. "You've met the character before," executive producer I. Marlene King gushes about Aria's new love interest. "But he's been recast so it's going to be a new actor in that role." Alison's brother Jason DiLaurentis has indeed been recast with Drew Van Acker replacing original actor Parker Bagley. On why they decided to recast the role, Marlene claims, "This actor works more for where we're going with that story." Spilling more details on how Aria and Jason grow closer, Marlene explains, "He plays a dark and mysterious guy, and he taps into Aria's dark and mysterious side. She used to be what we call 'Goth-lite' in flashbacks, he kind of taps into that, he remembers Aria in her pink hair and the person she used to be, and they kind of connect in that way." "They say, like, 'People will only remember the dark details of Alison's murder,' and Aria says, 'We're those dark details.' So [Aria and Jason] have that thing in common," Marlene further tells E! Online. In the upcoming season, Jason will be residing in Maya's house, where the DiLaurentis family lived before his sister Alison died, alone without his mother and father. Just when you thought you were ready to pull yourself together and pick your jaw up off the floor after the "Pretty Little Liars" season one finale, the season two teasers amped up and you're sucked back in (and by "you" we mean "we"). Even if post-"PLL" life went smoother for you than us, get ready to go back to obsessively constructing theories about A's identity. Season two starts next week and a little bird spilled some secrets about what to expect. It's a pretty trustworthy little bird too-Shay Mitchell shared some straight-from-the-set, totally dependable (assuming she's not just a pretty little liar in real life, that is) scoop on the new season. If you watched the finale, your burning question was probably the same as ours: What on earth happened to Ian? Well, Shay couldn't tell us exactly what happened (we don't want the girl to lose her job, after all), but she did say that Ian's disappearing act is one mystery that will be solved (since we don't really expect to learn who An is anytime soon). "Basically the season premiere takes place moments after the season finale," she spilled. "So the girls leave the church and Ian's body, as we know, is nowhere to be seen. So the whole mystery unravels and we will be finding out what happened to Ian. That I will tell you."
