The term UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object and is used for any object in the sky that is ‘out of place’ or whose origin cannot be determined. UFOs have been reported all over the world and people from all parts of the world have reported seeing unexplained lights in the sky (and other bizarre objects). Unfortunately, due to lack of any concrete evidence sceptics often ridicule people that believe in UFOs, and it is believed many UFO sightings are never reported for fear of social persecution and ridicule. Although, there might not be enough evidence to support the existence of UFOs, there are certain phenomenon on the planet that can point to the existence of intelligent life forms other than humans. The Pyramid of Giza Although people believe that the pyramids are an architectural brain child of the Egyptians, there are certain things about the pyramids that are simply too advanced for their time. For example, the base of The Pyramid is aligned exactly to the magnetic North pole of the earth (down to the last degree, the difference is in minutes). This would seem like no big deal had it not been for the fact that the first compass was invented a thousand years later! In addition, if the base of The Pyramid of Giza is extended along a straight line: the line would encompass the Nile river delta perfectly. The only way to achieve this a few thousand years ago was to have a person walk along the river delta for hundreds of miles with a string in his hand! Interestingly, the ‘coincidences’ do not stop here. On the evening of the summer solstice (when the earth’s tilt makes the earth closest to the sun) the sun is exactly in the middle of the two great pyramids. For the Egyptians to have constructed the pyramids with such precision they would have to know the exact time and position of the summer solstice. Once again, historians agree the Egyptians had little or no knowledge of the summer solstice at all. What is equally bizarre is that on the day of the winter solstice the sun traces a perfect path around the head of the Sphinx. Yet again, such precise calculations and architecture are way beyond the reach of the Egyptians. What is equally impressive about the construction of the pyramids is that the Pyramids lie in line with each other proportionate to the stars in the belt of the Orion constellation. There are numerous other constructions and phenomenon all over the world that point to the existence of alien life forms and UFOs. The fact that people from different countries and cultures have reported independent sightings of UFOs should be sufficient cause to investigate the UFO phenomenon world wide. Although critics are quick to blame television and other media for spreading UFO beliefs, there is no denying that there is sufficient proof to point to the existence of intelligent life other than humans. Stonehenge Stonehenge is believed to be a ceremonial site built 5000 years ago. Although the Stonehenge that remains today is but a small part of the original Stonehenge, there are various unexplained facts about Stonehenge. For example, the pattern of Stonehenge is amazingly similar to the crop circles that are observed all over the world. In addition, Stonehenge was built 5000 years ago and it is still unclear how the stones reached their location. What is equally intriguing is how such heavy stones were balanced so precariously. In fact, folk lore claims that giants helped construct and carry the heavy stones to the position they now rest in. Some stones weigh a massive 44 tonnes, and it is still unclear where such massive stones were sourced from.
