Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen – The Wait Is Almost Over

By: dick dicksonn

Who would’ve thought that a film about enormous, transforming robots rooted on an animated program from the way back eightees would be one of the highest grossing flicks unprecedented?

That’s precisely what happened with Michael Bay’s 2006 chartbuster version of the Transformers, presenting Optimus Prime and the valiant Autobots against Megatron and the evil Decepticons for control of the transcendent All Spark, the maker of all responsive robotic life. Their war waged throughout centuries, through the unfathomable recesses of the creation, and to our world.

The film congealed the status of Shia LaBeouf – who played Sam Witwicky – as a bankable A-list artist and hurled Megan Fox – who portrayed Sam’s love pursuit – into super stardom.

It comes as no shock that the sequel to the movie, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, is one of the most anticipated films of 2009.

Arranged for June 26, 2009 issue, Revenge of the Fallen will tell the continuing account of the Autobots on Earth, but will also be more large-scale than the original. Gossips persist, however, that the Earth won’t be the sole battleground in Transformers 2. The Fallen, after all, pertains to one of the first 13 Transformers created by the automaton god Primus who deceived his inventor by backing Primus’ evil brother, the planet-engulfing, global -sized, and global-changing Unicron. This informs us that Transformers 2 won’t just be global in range, it will be colossal as well.

The plot and the personalities are covered in mystery, though leaked
images of shoots reveal the following possibilities:

- Construction vehicles tinted with dirty green which may direct to the Constructicons – 7 Decepticon robots that turn into construction automobiles and combine to form the mighty Devastator.

- Unused notion art of an Autobot labeled Long Haul is rumored to have been dug up for this follow-up.

- Arcee, a female Autobot who turns into a motorbike and who was supposed to be a member of the group in the initial movie is sure to be incorporated in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

- Hasbro’s current Licensing Summit revealed some new models planned for the release of Transformers 2, which reveal new characters which may portray some roles in the film. Among them are a tiger-like robot named Ravage, which would seem to indicate the involvement of his master and Megatron’s faithful right hand man, Soundwave. Speaking of Megatron, the new toys might show that he will be given a new alt mode: a tank. Also, a Chevrolet Corvette will turn into the cartoon favorite, Sideswipe.
