Trade show displays vary greatly in cost, designs and complexities. Overall, following are the types of trade show displays:

1) Tabletop displays - These are small metal frame, which can easily collapse into small carrying case. As the name suggests, these can be set up on top of the table that is generally supplied by the trade show organizers, quite easily.

3) Pipe and Drapes - These are often supplied by the organizer. These are metal frame of upright post. The posts are supported by base plate and have cross beams on which fabric drape is either threaded or tied. The exhibitors can use them to display their own products. However, these displays cannot support any direct weight.

4) Pop up displays - It is a display, which uses flexible graphic panel attached to a spring-loaded roller, on which the graphics wind for storage. When it is ready to display, the graphic is pulled up and secured to a graphic posts at the back of the roller.

5) Panel and frame system consists of small aluminum extrusions, which are sold in pieces or parts to distributors, who in turn market a range of exhibit solutions for rent or purchases

6) Modular system - They fall somewhere between pop-up-displays and panel frame systems

7) Portable hybrid displays - Although these are hybrid by nature, they are not exactly custom exhibits, though they do display some flexibility since they consists of aluminum extrusions, tension fabrics and modular components.

8) Custom exhibits- These are rental or purchase exhibits and are fabricated from variety of materials, based upon the needs or designs of the exhibitor.
