Have A Look At The Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB

Coming to appreciate the Toshiba 32AV615DB television is easy enough to do once one learns of its very nice price, for one thing. Of late, this particular Japanese manufacturer of televisions has been seeking to make a mark in the UK market, though it is up against other strong sellers. However, if this TV is an indicator, it's going to do quite well in making a name for itself, especially with its price and the level of features it offers.

This 32 inch liquid crystal display television presents a high quality picture that is unencumbered by any issues with motion that TVs of this price sometimes display. Currently, many online retailers in the United Kingdom are selling this television for under 400 British pounds, including value added tax. Considering all that it offers, that seems to be an extremely nice price.

The television itself is not actually what is known as "full high definition, " meaning that its picture display will be slightly below what full high definition is. This means that it is not 1080p, but rather is a still-nice 1366x768p, which is only a little less -- in terms of resolution -- then real high definition. No one should worry about this, though, because the picture is still quite nice and remains so with even the most busy of on-screen actions.

This Toshiba also is no heavyweight in terms of it having to be picked up and carried about. At just 12 kg, even little Junior probably won't have a problem with picking it up and placing it around the flat or apartment or even a medium-sized room. And this is the truth of things; Toshiba probably intends that it end up in those sorts of environments, and not as the sole television for the family. The retail price seems to reflect that fact, as well.

Technologically speaking, Toshiba has packed the TV with a number of features that help it meet its goal of becoming a nicely-selling television. There are three separate HDMI input ports and an S-video port as well as an audio in feature that allows for a home theater system to be hooked up. Additionally, it includes an integrated analog tuner for those not yet into digital television. There is no UK-specific Freesat capability, though, which would allow it to pick up all of those free high definition satellite channels offered in the United Kingdom.

Motion on the screen is still very nicely controlled, because the Toshiba makes use of a 50 Hz engine that helps to greatly reduce any artifacts or on-screen judder that evidences itself in other TVs of similar price and characteristic. In fact, the Toshiba handles most extreme action on the screen in a very nice way.

The television looks good right out of the box, and its minimalist design seems to work well with its intended purpose in a way that many other TVs are not capable of pulling off. It makes use of a very useful on-screen menu system that is both intuitive and easy to manipulate. When it is operating, its standard 720p Blu-Ray content looks very nice, and the display looks pleasing and sharp, especially when one considers the price the television is selling at.

Coming to appreciate the Toshiba 32AV615DB is easy enough to do, especially for those who have an eye on their purchase budget and are on the hunt for a second TV that can deliver good quality pictures for a very reasonable price. In fact, this particular Toshiba meets or exceeds all of those criteria quite nicely, even though it might not offer a few features that one finds in televisions that cost much more. It will fit in very nicely in just about any flat or apartment, in fact, which seems to be what it was designed for.
