I had first heard about the paranormal activity at Temple House from another ghost hunting team that I have regular correspondence with. They had told us of their investigation they had carried out weeks previously, and had produced some very interesting results. They wanted to go back there in a few months to continue their investigation. They asked me if I was interested in taking a look into the house, as another team verifying what they had found could be more effective. My interest had peaked, so I got my team together and we went to the location to see what it had in store for us. The place itself is an old building that had been built in the early nineteenth century as a home for a local dignitary. Although the outside had the look of a building that had been standing around for many years its interior was one newly furnished offices and top of the range equipment. Our parapsychologist Dr. Katherine Copeland had carried out various tests throughout the building, however, nothing out of the ordinary had turned up on the Gauss meter or on the thermometer. She had warned that the electromagnetic fields around the building, due to the electrical equipment there, would interfere with our tests. In these circumstances, it was decided that the Gauss meter would be useless for taking any measurements. Annabel Keogh, our spiritual medium tried to contact some of the spirits that may have been lurking around in the building, and this was where things started to get a little interesting. She picked up on the name "Alice Carruthers", which was the name the previous team had come up with. She was a young girl that had been working as a maid to the original owner of the building. She had fallen pregnant by the owners son, but once he found out about this, she found herself being pushed down the stairs by the young man. He had been worried about the affect this could have on his standing and his family. We decided to begin our investigation around the stairs, after Ann told us that she could feel no spirit presences anywhere else in the building. However, she could feel that Alice was causing some paranormal activity to let us know that she was there. Ann also wanted to help the lost spirit in finding the other side, once the investigation was over. We set-up our equipment and waited to see what the night had in store for us.
