In today’s world, education aims at teaching citizens to learn, unlearn and to relearn aspects of life. Most schools and colleges are not committed to doing that. Education is very important for every human being. Students who do well in school aim to get into a good college to do their higher education and then a good degree. A very good degree is very important to be able to get a job that defines the rest of a person’s life. Once education is given, it is important for the individual to start up their own lives and take it to the next level of achievement. These NGOs aim to give education for all, irrespective of the fact that money is a constraint. Many schools and colleges do not believe that education is for all. These are, some of the things, which the NGOs in India want to change. The students in India are, often provided only with textual information that they are forced to learn. Their thinking however, is not allowed to change. The NGOs that are run at various points in India aim at giving children not just textual material to learn, but also teach children the practicalities of facing life as a human being. This not only helps them to become well educated, but also better citizens, who are committed to a big goal.
