As a network marketer there are only two things that you will get paid for, they are selling products and sponsoring new distributors into your company. Contrary to what many people believe, it's important to remember that it's not all about your company and products. New folks joining are probably joining because they are wanting to work directly with you and the company may be of little importance in their minds. So you need to know how to market yourself as an authority in the industry. Here are some tips from my personal experience that will help you in your MLM sponsoring efforts: Don't cosset and pamper your team members - This is a key point. When I first got started in this industry I was keen(as we all are_) for my team to do well, but that should not mean being at their every beck and call. Its surprising how much time and energy it can sap from you constantly taking calls from people who quite frankly can't be bothered to find answers themselves and want a quick fix, I speak from personal experience. Whilst I wanted to help my team succeed I found that my time was being taken away from my number 1 producing activity and that is, sponsoring. I quickly learned that the best way to overcome this problem without fobbing off my team was to do things in a group session, so I began to hold team training webinars on a regular basis. This is 1000% more time effective for me plus the feedback from team members tells me that it works wonders! If you are a smart marketer you will do this for your team also. Take advantage of group trainings. Outsource as much work as it viable It's often difficult to let go of personal control. A problem that I still have myself, I like to do as much of my marketing & content creation myself, as I know that it will be of a high standard. On the other side of the coin though, it's not good use of my time to be doing menial tasks that I could pay someone else to do. In some countries people will work for as little as $2.50 an hour doing your work for you, plus you are actually doing them a favour by hiring them! So cut straight to the point and outsource as soon as you start making money, or if you have money to play with, outsource from day 1! This will free you up to concentrate on that all important sponsoring. Open your mind to learn new skills Whatever area of life, anyone who has been very successful will have been coached by someone better than them. Continual learning is so important to your business and no one will ever know it all. To be a top producer you need to be taught by a top producer, it really is that simple! Create lots and lots of leads Something that every MLM marketer needs is leads, and lots of them! This is also one of the biggest problems that people face, a lack of leads. Many network marketers are told to make a list of their friends and family plus other acquaintances and then try and get these people to join your business, maybe also they are told to hand out in shopping malls and Starbucks to try and recruit!. These methods can and do work, but let's face it, there must be a better way surely. Its far better for you to learn to attract leads to you. You should learn the principles of 'Attraction Marketing' and more importantly use a system that will generate leads for you on auto-pilot AND sponsor them into your business.
