San Diego Aztecs Tickets – Aztecs utilize players well

The 2008-2009 season has the balance of the month of January, February and March before the season is complete. The San Diego Aztecs will be playing games against Colorado State in Fort Collins Colorado on January 31, UNLV in Las Vegas Nevada on February 3, Air Force at Cox Arena on February 7, Utah in Salt Lake City Utah on February 11, Wyoming at Cox Arena on February 14, New Mexico in Albuquerque New Mexico on February 21, Brigham Young at Cox Arena on February 24, TCU in Fort Worth Texas on February 28, Colorado State at Cox Arena on March 4, UNLV at Cox Arena on March 7 and the Conoco MWC Basketball Championship Quarterfinals in Las Vegas Nevada on March 12.

This year's San Diego Aztec players are senior forward Ryan Amoroso from Burnsville Minnesota, junior center Brian Carlwell from Maywood Illinois, junior forward Medhi Cheriet from Tarare France, senior guard Kelvin Davis from Waterbury Connecticut, sophomore guard Jason Deutchman from Los Angeles California, sophomore guard D.J. Gay from Sun Valley California, freshman guard Bryan Horton from Anaheim California, junior guard Tim Island from San Diego California, sophomore guard Tyrone Shelley from San Diego California, freshman forward Tim Shelton from Fresno California, senior forward Kyle Spain from Newark California, senior guard Matt Thomas from Riverside California, senior forward Lorrenzo Wade from Las Vegas Nevada, sophomore forward Billy White from Las Vegas Nevada and senior guard Richie Williams from San Diego California.

Coaching and staff assistance to the team includes head coach Steve Fisher, assistant head coach Brian Dutcher, assistant coach Justin Hutson, assistant coach Mark Fisher, athletic trainer Mark Haines, director of basketball operations Matt Soria and director of player development David Velasquez.

Statistics for the Aztecs for the 2008-2009 overall games is 14 wins and 5 losses. Home games within the statistics were 9 wins and 1 loss.
