These have been available in abundance on the sea shore and by the banks of rivers. Then shell jewellery used to be quite crude where now these beautiful shells are cleaned and polished and are even used with precious metals like gold and silver. My personal preference is for fashion jewellery made from a combination of shells and bright beads especially for the summer.
