We've been a Flip camera user seeing that they released the first gen. Flip Mino HD (not the brand new metallic model). I loved the camera. For what I needed it for this was everything I want to. I soon became enslaved the Flip cameras and was required to purchase this newest one whenever they came out. I currently own the Flip Mino HD (1st gen), Flip UltraHD (2nd Gen) Flip Slide HD, and from now on the Flip UltraHD (3rd Gen with Flip Port ). I also own a Canon GL2 and Vixia 30 video cameras and a Canon Xi digital SLR. Manged to get home from school on Tuesday and located my brand new Flip UltraHD waiting personally. I experienced about 20 minutes to available the package, look and developed the features (time, date, etc. ) before I had to give for walking in line band rehearsal. During rehearsal I did some test out shooting and I was very pleased with the grade of this camera, but I used to be worried about a few features. I was reluctant to begin with to purchase this Flip UltraHD because belonging to the 60fps feature. The new Flip UltraHD is smaller, but not a whole lot of. It seems good in your hands. The controls and the screen are inside the same place. It may be a nice easily fit in your hand. We were very shocked at how well the image stabilization worked. If you have used a new flip before this place you understand that the tiniest movement will probably create shaky video. You are able to tell this one provides image stabilization. It still can produce shaky video but it will take a large jolt to try and do it. The 60 fps was excellent. It appeared to be much clearer video and with the image stabilization it made everything much smoother and clearer in the view finder, perhaps in low light situations. Used to do check when i got property and the 60fps does import right into Final Cut Pro for editing without the compression. (Probably bring about the videos are inside MP4 format) Overall I think Flip UltraHD is the best Camera out on the market. I love this one superior to the Mino on account of the touch screen controls. Sometimes pressing the touch screen controls on the Mino can cause the camera to shake. So I recommend this Flip UltraHD for you too.
