Ben Linus, the "others" main man, leaves in a Grand Finale in the last episode of the 4th season. Season five, Lost: Destiny Calls, Mader is written out, along with Jeremy Davies, and no fresh people were introduced. It was first aired on the US ABC network in January 2009, and ran for 4 months, ending with a brilliant 2hr Grand Finale on May 13th 2009. In the penultimate season, some of the survivors are rescued and others mysteriously disappear.
