On the last Wednesday of August every year (26th August, 2009), the World’s largest food fight takes place – La Tomatina in Bunol, just outside of Valencia in Spain. The La Tomatina (The Tomato Battle) Festival 2009 takes place in Bunol, a very small Spanish village of Bunol having 9,000 people approximately triples down its population during the LA TOMATINA Festival around 200000 kgs of ripe tomatoes to take part in the world’s biggest food-vegetable fight.
