Marine recruits should carry not with them to boot camp other than significant documents – driver’s license, social security card, etc., and the clothes they are wearing. The Marine Corps issues every further things which are needed, even medication; all over-the-counter medications are seized at boot camp because they are not accepted for the time of the training.
