One example of the correction filter, green fitler. It is used for blavck and white film because this film is less sensitive to red light than the human eye. To remeddy this, we use a light-green filter, though a yellow filter can be used. There are actually many diffrent color filtesr, depending on the type of shot that you're going for. If you've ever watched movies with scennes seemingly shot to make the sene look like bright blue, this is done through the use of color filters. This is one of the most common foilters used for photography, as in photography and in film and telvision. Another type of filter, which is very common so-callled temperature of the filtr. Tghese filters are used for prodduction or cooilng or heating effect. One exaample would be the use of photographs taken on a very cold snowy winter day. Filter warming will be used to give a shot a warmer effect, despite the snow on the ground. Effects filters are widely used by photographers who are looking to add some Zip to your photos, to make them less soft. These effects include such things as a busrt of star formation and diffusion. Care should be taken on the impact of the use of filters, becausae they can beecome tedious after a while. The combination of certain consequences can be very effective. Polarizzing filters are used to reduce the reflection of lgiht from different sources, such as the Sun These filters actually produce exaggerated color saturation in an image. Therefore, they shold be used cauiously. While tking photops with these filters, they must be turned in wile you obsevre the image to get the dsired effect. This is the most cpommon types of filters, but there are othewrs. Experimenting with each can get a very good idea of the types that can be obtained from your camera.
