Hypnosis is the key to effective safe weight loss according to new report published by top british hypnotherapy clinic.

By: West London Hypnotherapy Clinic

The dieting industry is big business worldwide. In recent years in the UK, more than £1 billion was spent by customers on various weight loss products and food programs. Not to mention all the money spent on Gym Memberships and exercise equipment

Choosing an effective slimming program is the first step towards staying in good physical shape, if you need to lose weight for the sake of maintaining or improving your health and well being. But staying with a weight loss program can prove to be difficult for so many. That is why, when it comes to weight loss, choosing a program that addresses the psychological aspects of excess weight is vital.

Your mind is a powerful tool. While many people have yet to understand and harness the power of their minds, plenty of people are trying to do so, on a consistent basis, and this is helping them to reach all manner of success in their personal and professional lives.

If you are at the point where nothing is working for you as far as losing weight or dieting, and you want to go what some may say is a more controversial way, then you might want to consider weight loss hypnosis.

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are often given an unfair reputation as many people consider that what they see in movies or on stage is how a professional therapist works and this could not be further from the truth. However it is vital that you check out your chosen therapist and their credentials. Word of mouth recommendations are always the best, failing that check with one of the professional bodies such as the Hypnotherapy Association in the UK.

Recently British consultant clinical hypnotherapist, Noel Bradford, has been running lengthy trials investigating the benefits of hypnotherapy for those wanting to lose weight.

Over an extended period, Bradford saw over 30 clients at his west London clinic for a fixed trial of 7 sessions. The results of the trials have been at the very least impressive.

“The trials were split into two distinct phases,” explained Bradford, “clients that took part in Phase One of the trial had 7 private sessions with me and we explored their relationship with food and introduced some beneficial suggestions under hypnosis to resolve any conflicts in this relationship.”

Each client was also given a CD to listen to between sessions that added further re-enforcement. All of the clients that took part in the initial phase of the trial lost weight.

“Even one client that discovered she was pregnant towards the end of her course of sessions was able to maintain her starting weight” continues Bradford. “The average weight loss of those that completed the trial was 7 pounds (3.5kg).”

For Phase Two of the trial Bradford recruited a further 10 people that wanted to lose weight and using exactly the same hypnotherapy methods that worked for initial phase added a suggested eating plan and some fat burning herbal supplements into the mix.

Bradford takes up the story “It was remarkable the phase two clients found that following the suggested eating plan and using the supplements was easy and the weight loss impressive”.

“The suggested eating plan is by no means a prescriptive diet however a healthy eating plan that encourages the client to follow a healthier eating regime and to change the protein/carbohydrate balance in the favour of protein.“

The healthy eating plan advocates five to six small meals a day that means that the follower is never hungry and therefore much less likely to snack.

One client David Donovan agreed to talk about his experience “The programme is fantastic (don’t call it a diet as it doesn’t feel like one!!) and I will recommend you and the programme to all.”

Donovan was able to drop over 12kg in the six week period and feeling very positive about the future, “I am never hungry and any cravings for any of those high carb or high fat foods that I used have on other diets are non-existent”

Writing about her experience of the Weight loss program in the Uxbridge Gazette Cathy Ranson who took part in phase one of the trial said “The mixture of weekly hypnotherapy sessions and listening to the CD at home have helped me in my mission to drop a dress size for the summer. I was initially a bit unsure about hypnotherapy, wondering if it was all mumbo jumbo, but the results speak for themselves.”

From the trials it is clear that the program works and is highly effective so that on January 1st 2010 the result of the trials will go on sale to the public in the form of the Ultimate Hypno Diet which takes the form of a set of 3 Compact Discs with Email Support. There is also the option of adding the excellent range of supplements either as part of the package or as separately available add-ons.
