How to spot a Low-T count & how you can overcomewhat you can do about it

By: Erick Duffey

Simply put,… the “T” stands for testosterone and the Low as you can guess means that there’s an insufficient level of it and hence we get the phrase “Low-T”.
Whilst there are a great deal of topics and references around on the subject of male menopause or andropause as it’s clinically referred to, this count isn’t necessarily a biological inevitability in all men just because they arrive at a specific age of say 45 to 55. Circumstances that can aggravate Low-T are things such as prolonged or chronic illness, head injury, surgery, bodily infections, alcohol abuse and disproportionate intake. It tends to be that when a man reaches his middle age that conditions prevail such as undergoing surgery and less resistance to illness. Also, there’s more of a tendency to indulge in alcohol and pay less attention to a healthy diet and added to this there can be a reduced amount of natural vigorous job activity and not as much involvement in sport. A round of golf can help but not so much when that concludes in an hour at the bar drinking and smoking (even being exposed to passive smoking),- that’ a sure fire Low-T generator!.
There are several things that a man can do to inhibit this so-called male menopause and those things not surprisingly relate to habits that are associated with general overall good health.
It’s a known and scientific fact that when a man indulges in an unhealthy diet, exercises very weakly or not at all, deprives himself of sleep, smokes (even a little), and indulges in too much alcohol (even a couple of beers a day) that such habits can seriously contribute to a LowT count.
How to spot a “Low-T” situation
There are certain telltale signs that a count of Low-T is emergent, and these include:
· Feeling depressed
· Loss of motivation
· Lack of confidence
· Constant irritability
· Poor concentration
· Lack of strength
· Bodily aches and tensions
· Putting on weight
· Development of soft breast tissue

These are some of the most typical signs of a situation of Low-T and whilst not a comprehensive list they are unambiguous warning signs that Low-T is increasing.

The last category noted concerning development of soft breast tissue arises from an intensification of estrogen levels which are a sure sign that testosterone levels are on the decline and Low-T is prevalent.

There are a number of ways in which you can naturally help to combat Low-T conditions and such would include:

· Begin working out (even some undemanding stretching and a daily walk can make a huge difference
· Get more rest (take a few power naps here and there to boost your sleep and rest reservoirs)
· Enhance your diet (getting some nutritional advice and boosting supplements is a great idea)
· Drink more water and less alcohol
· Stop or reduce smoking
· Laugh more,.. seriously,- it lowers stress (go watch a comedy or read something funny).
· Take some Low-T supplements (natural and pharmaceutical are available but you should take advice and study more about the type that would best suit you personally)
