As of June 30 2009 they had enrolled over 30,000 people. Global Verge promotes their mobile service through MLM or network marketing. Global Verge or Global Mobile 1 and Zer01 has been reported to have had some problems with alleged scams, fraud and not to mention a law suit from it's now former partner Zer01. The Web is loaded with reports of a "Global Verge scam" and a law suit from it's former partner Zer01 for depts unpaid. Weather Global Verge will settle it's issues and continue to do business is unknown. No doubt failure of the company would mean travesty for a lot of their distributors. If Global Verge does not survive, it wouldn't be the first time an MLM company has folded and taken with it all the hard work, sacrifices, and profits of their distributors. How can network marketers protect themselves from the downfall of this house of cards? Well the first thing would be to start branding yourself, the one thing you own that no one can take away is "Your Name Inc." Take for example the two riches men in the world, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. If Microsoft collapsed (which is virtually impossible) Bill Gates name would only be seen in the history books. Warren Buffet owns a corporation under Berkshire and Hathaway, if one of the many businesses he owns fails you would probably never know it and his net worth would barely make a blip. This is why it's important to brand you and not Global Verge, Global Mobile 1, or some other company, product, or the compensation plan. One way to do this is by having a lead generation system also known as a funded proposal, leads funneling system, or an attraction marketing formula. This is a way for network marketers to protect their resources and ensure that they can continue making a profit and their business does not sink with the company. There are 3 other ways (among many) that a lead generating system incorporated on the front end of your biz-op can protect you from loosing everything. 1.A List - A leads system uses a squeeze page to capture names and email addresses and automatically make a list of people that could be prospects you could potentially enroll into whichever MLM company you are with, and the ones that don't join your business may purchase products from you. This source of income would protect the networker from financial ruin while he works on building a new company.
