However, many naturalists find the Ukaguru Mountains worth all the trouble. Aside from the fact that this panoramic view is literally a raised plateau that nestles in the shadow of the taller Uluguru Mountain, it is home to some of the world's largest and rarest bird species. While the climax vegetation is generally categorized as moist vegetation, it has a lower canopy and less diversity than forest. Thus if you want to experience stunning views of cloud-capped mountains and stunted trees, the Ukaguru Mountains is just about the perfect place for you. Moreover, if you want to immerse yourself in some of the world's most spectacular natural vegetation, the only way to do it is by experiencing the Ukaguru Mountains.
