I am 45 years old. I love to write prose. I have 5 books out right now. They can be purchased from my website, Amazon.com, and PublishAmerica.com. My book "A Call to the Christians" has been called "Illustrations of Inspirations", and "A Crime of Passion" by many. "A Call to the Christians" are a variety of 60 poems. The poems range for titles like "Sold", "Troops", "Fathers Knee", and "Just From Me". Here are the words to "Just From Me": Just From Me Here's a petal, just from me, when I once scraped me knee. Here's a petal, just from me, when you rocked so gently. Here's a petal, just from me, when you sang endlessly. Here's a petal, just from me, when all odds where against me. Here's a petal, just from me, when I rebelled against you. Here's a petal, just from me, when you sat waiting expectantly. Here's a petal, just from me, when you prayed forgivingly. Here's a petal, just from me, because you gave unselfishly. Here's a petal, just from me, to weave in the untold parts. Mom here's a petal, just from me, sown by the thread of your heart. God guides each petal, as he creates the Masterpiece. The book Latch Key Kids has many great poems about childhood experiences. Here is one of the writings' from that book: Broom Closet Down the hall, on the left side of the wall, was a broom closet. We knew,as chldren,in Elementary School that our conduct was alright unless we got sent to the broom closet. We always heard stories in class of Johnny or Adam getting a paddling in the broom closet. My heart sunk down into my stomach. I was scared to death, as I walked from desk. I went out the door and to the broom closet. In my mind I feared a paddling. I imagined bending over to take my licks. Mrs. Speck was waiting on me there. She said that I had been talking to much. What a relief I felt, when she asked me not to talk as much. It only took one trip to the broom closet for me to learn to be quiet. This is a sample of the writings that I have written. "Those Were the Days" are stories of the memories of my children growing up. "A Call to the Christians 2" is an addition to "A Call to the Christians". One of the writings out of "Those Were the Days" is Thump. Thump It was a normal afternoon. I was standing in the kitchen cooking supper, when I heard a thump on the house. I kept hearing this same noise. I looked out the window to see, my five year old son throwing , a ball against the house. I watched quietly, as he repeatedly threw the ball and waited, on it to return to his glove. He was a great ball player. He coudl turn a double or triple quickly. He had good eye, hand coordination. He reminded me of his Dad playing ball years before. I hope that you have enjoyed reading my writings. A Call to the Christians" is my first book. The other three books that I have out right now are "Latch Key Kids", "Those Were the Days", and "A Call to the Christians 2". These books show a wide range of years that all of us go through. From childhood days to adult days, we can all look back and engage a moment in our lives from these writings. Everyone connects with the writings. Whether it is a poem about Grandma, Mother, or a child, there is a poem for everyone to enjoy.
