Creating Promotional Products that are Good Enough to Eat

By: searchrankpros1

Promotional products are becoming increasingly popular to get a companies name and brand recognised. When selecting promotional products there are many options to choose from however, choosing the ones that will help you stand out from the rest can be a difficult task.

Not all promotional products suit all brands, which is why it is so important to select the right one to suit your company ideals. What use is it to display details of an IT networking firm on a stress ball, surely this associates stress with this company. What use is it to show any brand on a promotional Rubik cube, surely by the time it is scrambled any promotional message that was once there will be lost and in my experience with Rubik cubes this would be lost for good.

So how do you select the product that will correctly portray your brand in a positive way? Well the answer is careful thinking and research. What are some of the bigger names in your field doing, you can bet they have already done a lot of the thinking and will have definitely done the research for you.

In order to correctly portray this strategy I will be using the example of correctly marketing Hotels with the right promotional products.

If you own a small hotel or even a small chain of hotels and all the big hotels in your field are handing out branded chocolates or leaving personalised chocolate on the pillows or with coffee when it is served it may be a good idea for you to follow suit.

The idea behind this is to take advantage of the fact that people love mementos of where they have stayed, where they have been and what they have done therefore the chances are not only will your branded chocolates make your chain seem that bit more professional and will potentially make your chain/hotel/B & B seem bigger than they are, you also have the chance to getting your chocolates in front of the customers friends, colleagues and family therefore you are already advertising your brand in a positive light.

I cannot imagine a hotel or B&B that wants to be taken seriously using many other products to advertise their brands other than slippers, dressing gowns or toiletries that are normally reserved for the bigger chains due to the costs involved.

Therefore a good idea for small hotels would be to use branded chocolates in the form of sweets on the pillows, after dinner chocolates, chocolates with coffee etc.
