Computer Networking

By: Sebastien Gomez560 Sebastien Gomez560

In the modern day digital age that we live in, computers and the internet seem to be heavily relied on by mass quantities of people to function in everyday society. With that being said, an entire spawn of computer networks and ways we communicate have proven to be an integral portion of the internal structure within the convenience we call the internet. Because there are millions of people using the internet and computer like devices, ‘plugged-in’ Network Reliability is required more than ever to provide a free flowing communication in the ever changing digital age we live.

Take Wide Area Networks (WAN) for instance. Having proper WAN Optimization and components of WAN Optimization are very crucial to computer networking and staying connected. Given the importance of anytime, anywhere application access, IT departments are turning to WAN optimization to improve and accelerate application performance across the wide-area network. Because redundant network elements add to the overall network cost, service providers typically employ different levels and types of fault tolerance in the edge and core network, Multiprotocol Label Switching or MPLS Networks give high-performance to telecommunications networks which directs and carries data from one network to another.

Having organized data delivery systems provide for much faster and efficient Network Reliability. Further, Bandwidth Management and Bandwidth Optimization are also integral parts of running successful computer networks and MPLS Networks are gate keeping components to that internal makeup of the WAN system. In turn, the advantages of MPLS Networks primarily revolve around the ability to support multiple service models and perform traffic management important for controlling connectivity issues. Although, when it comes to the internet and connectivity issues with regards to networks, having sufficient Bandwidth Management and Bandwidth Optimization will present a higher level of Network Reliability. Having great Bandwidth Management and Bandwidth Optimization provide excellent networking management tool – Having great bandwidth components can better manage data flows in company networks.

The level of sufficient bandwidth which can either allow or prohibit a smooth flow of communication, providing limitation or optimal network speed and maximal amounts of transferred data, ultimately accessing how network users view information. In Short, the number of internet users continues to increase and demand for media-rich and peer-to-peer applications rises, bandwidth management will continue to play a role in network management. However, finding a management solution is not always an easy task.

While there are many tools on the market, the continual evolution of technology, including e-commerce applications, can make network management a tough chore. As a result, network managers continue to look for and utilize solutions that optimize bandwidth and create reliability in order to avoid bottlenecks and ensure that enough resources are allocated to business-critical applications.
