An example of this would be the huge social bookmarking sites on the web today such as Reddit and Digg. A good open source software company looking to attract new webmasters should be on top of the most modern technology in order to entice people to sign up. Other features should include highly flexible and extended solutions great content management systems.

All webmasters can appreciate really good open source software for web development, as it makes the process much easier for those who are technically challenged or who have no experience building websites.
