It offers integrated Wi-Fi for talking convenience and a full-functioning QWERTY keyboard with trackball to move the user through applications fast and efficiently. BlackBerry has taken into account the complaints users had about the too close and slick keys of prior QWERTY keyboards. There is a decent amount of space between the keys allowing users to efficiently type. The screen resolution is excellent, as one would expect in a BlackBerry device with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The screen measures 2.5" and bursts with over 65,000 colors. For music aficionados there is a jack that allows headphones to be plugged in to use the device for music listening pleasure. Forty-five ringtones are offered to give a personalization to the various contacts the user places in the device’s phonebook. Noise and background echoes are not an issue with the BlackBerry RIM Curve-8320. Also, this device has taken things a step further by allowing for volume self-adjust when one is in a noisy area trying to have a conversation. The only limitation for the number of contacts allotted is the memory of the device. An additional SIM card will allow for an additional 250 contacts and allows up to eight phone numbers per contact. Ideal for business people with many clients at several numbers or locations. The applications of the BlackBerry 8320 have become very advanced, now offering a way to spell-check emails before they are sent. For picture happy users there is a two megapixel camera that can zoom in up to 5 times on an object. There is a flash within the device, but no video recorder. The BlackBerry 8320 features a Li-ion, 1100 mAh battery that offers a talk-time of 4 hours and an extremely long standby time of 17 days. It hosts some great new features, and gives users what they desire in a device that is more than a phone but an office.
