Article Marketing the easiest way to get traffic you any site. Bum Marketing: this expression may put pictures in your thoughts of a scruffy person asking for a hand out on a street corner. Weird thing the appearance of quite a few of the more sucsessful marketers I've observed do not appear too far from that very illustration. Please do not take it out of context they all are well groomed and sparkling but since they made it, they no longer have to dress the dress for success as they say. Bum Marketing: is the label used to describe those marketing with slight or no expenditure of hard cash to create visitors to their respective web sites. With Article Marketing this is most likely one of the best avenues to use to make this to materialize. Even after you make a boatload of cash, this will probably still be used on a consistent basis, should the search engines not alter too drastically in the near future. With that being said, how would you get started? It is conceivably workable to do this without any expenditure. Nonetheless, as with any business venture it is so much easier should you have some startup seed money. There are a some things you will want to begin your new venture into the business of marketing online. 1. Sure you can get free website hosting and other free services, but there is no guarantee that these sites will stay in business for as long as you may be using them. Should you get on your way creating quite a few sites and not have backups for recent changes and you find your sites are not here the next day you will have to start all over once more. It would be grueling enough even if you did have backups. Finding new free hosting and then hazard the same thing happening all over once more. You can see why getting upright hosting for your sites is a high recommendation. Not a definate must but is advised. 2. You need an autorespoder service, for those new to the biz, these are services that allow you to construct links on a webpage to gather information, mostly a name and email address and be able to correspond regularly with those that opt-in to what ever you may be selling or giving away at that point. This list is very worthy in that it also gives you the chance to possibly sell more down the road as you escalate and add products to your inventory. There are fee sites as well as free of charge sites for this as well. Again you run the hazard that the owner may take down the service at any time without notification. Should you use these you really need to be thorough in backing up your lists. 3. Products, as an article marketer you will need something to sell or give away, therefore you will need products. There are fortunately and unfortunately a mega-horde of products to obtain online. Some are free and others you must pay for. In both catagories there are a few gems and most are genuinely crap. You really must use your best judgement when choosing what you market. What can you discover out there... you name it you can find it. With that I suggest you find two products on a topic or "Niche", as they say in the biz, you have an interest. I said two products, one to give away and one to sell. The give away could be an eBook. This may be something you could put together yourself, but I recommend you find one already created to save time and get you started sooner. Just do a search on the Internet for "topic free ebook", of course replace the word topic with the word you selected of interest to you. Or leave off free should you want to purchase a product with the rights to give it away or sell it but that is getting into a whole other area of marketing I may address in a upcoming article. The equivalent goes for products to sell, there are gratis items you may be given the right to sell. But I think it best to goto a service that allows you to select from a mass of products already created that permit you to market and receive a commission everytime someone makes a purchase through your coded link. Clickbank is most likely the most well acknowledged service of this type. You join for free and as a member you can choose from a list on diverse topics and products. In the list it offers information as to how well the product may be doing, the commission rate per sale and the number of competitors you may have should you select it to sell. There are other services but I'd say Clickbank would be a great starting point for nearly all. After you get your products, setup your websites with autoresponder links you are ready to begin marketing. I did forget to talk about, should you have the funds, you can pay to have every single one or some of the steps mentioned to be done for you. This is called "Outsourcing", again this is a topic for a future article. As stated in the begining, this approach of Article Marketing can be the most inexpesive means of marketing. in that there are hundreds if not thousands of sites you can submit articles. A lot of them are free and some are pay sites due to the quantity of traffic to the site or should you want your article to be posted in a quicker time frame. Article Marketing is the best way to get backlinks out there to your websites growing your level in search-engines at this time. Submitting articles one by one can be exceedingly tedious as well. Fortunately there is software to aid in this job as well. Again this is an area where you can find free products but from my experience "you get what you pay for". I have found merely one software that exceeded each expectation and reservation I had and made Article Marketing more fun for me.
