After twelve months upon the receipt of home mortgage relief, the department of housing shall contact you for the commencement of your payment. The benefit of applying for a mortgage relief is that there is not interest. Even during application, you are not required to pay for anything. It is imperative that you complete all your requirements before submitting your application for so that your home mortgage relief will be processed quickly. Today, the maximum mortgage relief is $12,000. Once you sold your house or you have applied for a refinancing or loan renegotiation, you shall be obliged to pay for the whole mortgage relief amount.
