The Rii Mini Keyboard is just what it states on the box, a mini keyboard. When I talk about mini keyboard, I am actually talking about to how big the device is, as it's not the same size as your average PC keyboard. Measuring a mere 5.9 inches by 2.3 inches by 0.5 inches, this device is a dwarf compared with the average 18in x 2in x 8in - and it's a lightweight at 3.2 oz.. It's not only little but it's also light, making it great for carrying around or for keeping it in a bag when you need it on the move. Typing is not hard at all on this small keyboard, which fits easily between your hands. Not only are you able to use the Rii with your personal computer, and your laptop computer, it's also a great accessory for your PS3 or wiki gaming systems. Wires are redundant with the Rii's wireless capability, provided by a Bluetooth USB receiver, so you can easily connect to other wireless electronic units. The Rii features the common QWERTY layout, and also the convenience of a touchpad like those we know from laptops. There are also 26 LED lights built into this product for when the adjacent lighting is dark. The device runs off of two lithium ion batteries, which are included with the product and are also rechargeable. On Amazon, the Rii has acquired plenty of reviews, most of them rating it 4 and 5 stars. There are also quite a few votes for 1, 2 and 3 stars, which signals that it may not be as good as it initially looks. One observation was that the keyboard didn't work well with an Ubuntu system beyond a range of 30 feet, but it was quite good within that. But then, a range of 30 ft is reasonably good. Both playlist and volume button controls are present on the keyboard, which is fantastic if the planned use is multimedia in character. This keyboard also handily features other buttons, which although not often used, are good to have when you do want them. No product is perfect, and so there are a few failings that must be cited. What is a bit of a hassle now and then is that the touchpad is not as exact as we are accustomed to with regular laptop computer touchpads. The touchpad likewise has issues with recognizing taps; even so, there are two mouse buttons, left and right, which can be used instead. Also bear in mind that whilst it does have the QWERTY layout, the keys are set up in a grid with straight lines vertically and horizontally, whereas conventional keyboards have a bit of an offset in the vertical grids. This isn't a serious issue; however, it does take a bit of getting accustomed to. All things considered, this is a nice keyboard if you're in the market for a smaller size that also features a mouse touchpad. The price is terrific, and the many positives make the few drawbacks look petty.

As indicated by the name on the packaging, the Rii is a mini keyboard. Of course, I'm referring to the size compared with a typical PC keyboards - and it's much smaller.
