A car that changed the history of the vehicles - mercury cyclone

From the beginning to end of the 60s Mercury produced several high profile muscle cars; these included a 1967 Mercury Comet 427, the 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator and the 1969 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler 2. In any case, Mercury would outdo themselves in 1970 by presenting the 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler and at all times grant them a place in muscle car history.

The Cyclone featured and integrated usable scoop opposed to the traditional shaker hood used in many Ford models. A rear air foiler and chin spoiler general accessories. The outer of the car was adorned with simple type stripes available in six 'Grabber' colors, blue, orange, yellow, green, platinum and coral. Mercury simply outdid Ford in the interior of the car. The cyclone provided a standard instrument cluster that included oil pressure, amp gauge, coolant temperature and a round tachometer gauge that were all angled to the driver for easy view when driving.

In 1970 Mercury cyclone was a big car by the day standards. It shared the same wheelbase as the Torino but a longer body which added around 100 pounds to the vehicle. Nonetheless the Cyclone will always be appeal to as the greatest muscle car legend of 1970.

So as the late 60's and 70's have long passed the vehicles are still remembered for their advancement power and beauty which can be seen in the 1970 mercury cyclone a prime example of the great muscle car era.
