Consult an account or CPA about your business structure, sole proprietorship, LLC, or INC. 4. Essentials Internet is the foundation for your work at home business. Get to know the web as much as possible. To start a home based business on the internet, you need these essentials: You need a Good decent computer PC or Mac. (2GB Memory and at least 80 GB of hard disk recommended). A good size monitor 17. (22 inch is recommended, and you will appreciate this in the long run). You need a reliable broad band ISP connection, a printer. A good spacious desk and a comfortable work chair. (You will be spending a lot time on this desk and chair, might as well make it comfortable) 5. Self-Employed Starting an internet business is not impossible. It is the easiest business to start, maintain, and make some decent money. It is also the least expensive way to start a business. The overheads and start up costs are zero or very small. In the beginning, it has to be a self-employed type of work at home business. You need to be everything to everybody.
