4 Tips for Financial Freedom

Not everybody is born a millionaire but anybody can still experience financial freedom. It does not matter if you're making millions or thousands a month. Being free from financial worries means being wise stewards of money. Don't be one of those persons who wonder where their money goes at the end of the month. You need to develop a plan to maximize your money.

Make a Budget and Follow It
Jot down all the income you have every month. If you don't have exact figures, write a conservative estimate. Deduct your savings first if you think you can do that. Then subtract your bills payments and groceries. Make sure that the remainder is not a negative value. If it is, neglect savings, cut some of the bills, and/or find other income opportunities. What is left is your disposable income. At the end of the month, you can add this to your savings or spend it on your entertainment. Keep your receipts and track your monthly spending. When you do another monthly budget, look at these receipts and look for ways to save even further.

You probably saw that toaster with electronic browning controls and bun warming rack and wanted to buy it. Ask yourself first, do you really need it? I bet you can survive even if you have only an ultra-basic toaster in your house. Live within your means. Many of us look at our neighbors and say "hey, they have this appliance. I should have one too!" If you don't need it, don't buy it.

Save Savings First
For financial freedom even to your retirement age, you must save. When you save, you must not touch it until retirement age. You need to save for emergencies, personal necessities, and future purchases. Think about your retirement right now. Invest in an insurance policy. Diligently pay your social security. Continuously deposit on your bank account and see it grow.

Pay Debt and Avoid It
Aside from your savings, you need to set aside money to pay your debt. Neglect it and suffer from various fees: finance charge, interest, surcharge, and other bank charges. Pay those with high interest rate first. Pay your debt right away and increase your credit score. Now, if you are still paying for one debt, avoid applying for another. Having multiple debt accounts is risky. It will choke you

Financial freedom is just within reach. These tips are not easy at first but once your system is tuned to it, you would see direct results. These tips require persistence and discipline so that you will never worry about money. Life is not always about money; break free from it.
