All models come equipped with a choice of five-speed manual or automatic transmissions. The 2010 Mustang has a little improved fuel economy with 16-18 mpg in the city and 23-26 mpg on the highway, and competes with other muscle cars - the Dodge Challenger and Chevy Camaro. The New Mustang also delivers on safety with a standard complement of features, including ABS, traction control, electronic stability control, tire-pressure monitoring system, remote keyless entry, and four airbags. Optional safety-directed features include the rearview camera, along with 911 Assist for vehicles with SYNC. This New Ford Mustang is one of few vehicles to get five-star ratings from the federal government, across the board, even for rollover resistance. The New Ford Mustang V-6 coupe is offered starting at $20,995, and the V-6 convertible at $25,995. Pricing for the GT V-8 coupe starts at $27,995, with the GT V-8 convertible at $32,995. The 2010 Ford Mustang is quicker, quieter and more refined than any V8 Mustang ever.
