Myth 1: Networking teams are solely for brand new business owners. Truth: Many networking teams who show sustained growth have a majority of members who are in business a minimum of 5 years. Myth two: The only business owners who join networking teams are unsuccessful ones. Truth: See myth 1. Myth 3: Men do not be a part of networking groups. Truth: In the little county I live in, men started one/3 of the business networking groups. One cluster may be a girls-only cluster and the other groups are a mixture of both men and women. Myth four: Only home business owners or solo business owners be part of networking groups. But, many bricks 'n' mortar businesses be part of networking groups and do very well, too. Myth five: Solely business owners be a part of networking groups. Truth: Professionals, sometimes executives and agents who work for existing firms, be part of to promote their corporations' services and/or merchandise, too. Myth half dozen: Multi-Level Marketing people are not welcome at networking groups. Truth: If you're an MLM-er and attend meetings to sell your product, you will get a hotter reception if you're there to talk about your merchandise - not to extend your downline.
